A protected coast
Bristani’s small pebble beach lies in the Karaburun Managed Nature Reserve, and the water off it belongs to Karaburun-Sazan National Marine Park, protected since 2010. The park’s 2014 management plan names Bristani among the western Karaburun beaches that no road reaches.
Above the bay: Shpella e Dukgjonit
On the mountainside near the bay is Shpella e Dukgjonit (Duk Gjoni Cave), a karst cave listed as a natural monument by Council of Ministers decision 303/2019. Albania’s protected-areas agency describes it as difficult to visit; it is not part of the boat tour.
